A Total Apparel Management (TAM) solution is being sought for the provision of uniform & workwear for Corrective Services NSW, NSW Sheriff’s Office, NSW Youth Justice and NSW State Emergency Service.

Project goals

The four NSW Government agencies are seeking to engage one supplier to deliver an integrated uniform supply and management service across all participating agencies. The successful supplier will ensure that all personnel—including staff, members, and volunteers—are consistently provided with uniforms that meet required safety, operational, and professional standards, enabling them to perform their duties safely and with confidence.

The TAM solution requires:

· Support to design, develop, rationalise and improve required apparel

· Ethical sourcing and supply chain management, including incorporating NSW Government legislation

· Stock and supply of some agency-sourced items when requested

· Stock control to ensure availability when required

· Services, support, systems, processes that are user-friendly and efficient for all staff whether they are measuring, ordering, receipting, reconciling, paying, managing, tracking or reporting activity

· Staff satisfaction of goods in terms of comfort, practicality, quality and all elements required for uniform and workwear

· Continuous improvement for account management

Scope

The selected supplier will be required to deliver a full Total Apparel Management solution, including design and innovation, entitlement management, measurement and allocation, eCommerce/online ordering and solutions, online returns/exchange process, order tracking, full suite of reports, dedicated customer service, ethical sourcing and managing the quality of garments, including eco-friendly packaging and possible recycled content, efficient invoicing and payment processes, proactive data management, analysis and reporting for continuous improvement.

The goods to be provided may include:

Uniforms – Blouses, Breeches, Cardigans, Dresses, Footwear, Jackets, Jumpers, Maternity wear options, Mess Dress/Tunic, Officers Dress uniform, Overalls, Polo Shirts, Shirts, Shorts, Skirts, Slacks, Socks, Trousers, T-Shirts, Vests/Load Bearing, Wet Weather, Winter Weather.

Accoutrements – Appointments, Belts, Caps, including Baseball, Peak, Bucket and Cricket, Epaulettes, Gloves, Flags, ID Insignia, Lanyards and Aiguillettes, Medals, Patches, Ties and Accessories.

Personal Protective Clothing – Gloves, safety glasses, safety boots, high-visibility rainwear.

Respondents are required to attend a mandatory tender briefing to be held at Long Bay Correctional Complex on 25 February 2026. Attendance at the briefing is a condition of the RFx, please refer to tender documents on how to register your attendance.
