Currently, icare does not utilise a dedicated SAM solution to oversee its software assets within the organisation. Through this open market procurement initiative, icare seeks to address this concern.

Project goals

Currently, icare does not utilise a dedicated software assetmanagement solution to oversee its software assets withinthe organisation. Instead, assets are tracked, monitoredand reported through spreadsheets, an approach that isinefficient, prone to error, and limits visibility of actualsoftware usage. This lack of insight restricts icare’s ability to optimise license allocation, leading to potential over licensing, underutilisation, and increased costs.

Through this open market procurement initiative, icare seeks to address these concerns by acquiring a softwareas-as-a service solution capable of tracking, monitoring, andreporting on software-related obligations within the organisation.

Scope

The Respondent is to provide a proposal for the Software Asset Management services.
