Project goals

Essential Energy, a State‑Owned Corporation operating Australia’s largest electricity network, is seeking proposals for the manufacture, testing, supply, and delivery of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) for integration within composite streetlight assets on its electrical network. For this Request for Proposal (RFP), the scope is limited to the supply of EVSE hardware and accessories only.

Issuing of any purchase order following award of contract will be contingent on the approval of Essential Energy Plug and Play ARENA Funding trial Academy Ring-fencing waiver application by the Australian Energy Regulator (AER).
