The project aims to rectify structural and façade issues at the Port Macquarie Depot Hebel Shed, 115 Hindman Street Port Macquarie, by removing the existing cracked Hebel frontage, installing engineered steel framing, and replacing it with traditional shed framing and Colorbond sheeting.
In addition, internal wall repairs will be undertaken, including the installation of expansion joints to remaining Hebel walls and structural bracing to enhance the shed’s overall integrity. Engineers have determined that the internal Hebel walls are non-load bearing in nature and cracking to these walls does not pose a risk to safety or the structure of the building.
