Sydney Trains is seeking a Contractor to carry out routine inspections and repairs of the buffet equipment across all 9 XPT and 8 XPL cars, for an initial term of 3 years with extension options.
The following are essential requirements that the Contractor must, at a minimum, comply with:
a) Inspect and maintain the Serviced Assets in accordance with Sydney Trains TMP and OEM requirements.
b) Prepare reports based on issues identified during inspection and maintenance, highlighting areas in writing, following consultation with the respective Engineer.
c) Review, document and recommend update to the existing TMP.
d) Comply with Sydney Trains Maintenance Centre Safety Management System requirements including Rail Industry Worker and Maintenance Centres Site inductions for all persons engaged in the Services.
e) Provide Safety Documentation including Safe Work Method statements (SWMS), Implementation Plan, Safety Management Plan (Site Specific), Environment Management Plan, Suppliers Authorisations, Certifications, Employees Qualifications, and Insurance details.
Provide an outline of the downtime required for inspection and maintenance.
• Undertake quarterly inspections and repairs of the internal buffet equipment across all
8 XPL and XPT Cars – inspection to be conducted based on car availability as scheduled with Sydenham and Eveleigh Maintenance Centres
o Buffet Car Maintenance includes Fridges / Freezers (mechanical components only)
o Bin Drawers
o Sliding Drawer Locks,locker doors, door tracks and shelving
o Towel rails, clips, counters and Perspex menu covers
• Manage a quantity of spare parts to be used for the replacement or repair of any mechanical parts identified as damaged or non-functioning.
• Any requirement for off-site repair of broken or damaged doors and drawers
