Bundle 25 Raw Materials Panel for the AMRF

Suppliers of Raw Materials now have the opportunity to become qualified vendors to the Advanced Manufacturing Research Facility (AMRF) located in Bradfield.

Project goals

The first stage of our state-of-the-art Advanced Manufacturing Research Facility (AMRF) located in Bradfield City Centre, is scheduled to open later this year.

Suppliers of Raw Materials now have the opportunity to become qualified vendors to the AMRF.

This will enable the AMRF team to develop a robust supply chain to maintain a world class advanced manufacturing facility.

Successful applicants will be on a panel for two years, with an option for a third year extension, for the supply of raw materials for the manufacturing equipment.

Scope

This Invitation To Respond(ITR) is centred on establishing a procurement panel for Raw Materials. For the purposes of this ITR, the term Raw Materials refers to ISO- and non-ISO materials for processing with metal additive manufacturing, precision machining, composites, and plastic processing machinery. Raw Materials are expected to fall into one of the following groups: [1] Metals and Alloys for Additive Manufacturing [2] Billet or forged shapes, rod, bar, or sheet metal and plastic products [3] composite components for fiber-based composite manufacturing or [4] other materials that may not be mentioned in 1-3 but essential for manufacturing processes.

The ITR will remain open for submissions for the duration of the contract until 31 August 2026. Any submissions received will be evaluated every quarter starting, October 2024, then January 2025, April 2025, July 2025, October 2025 and January 2026, April 2026, July 2026
