Tenders are invited from contractors with Transport for NSW experience to supply and install Aboriginal Signposting for Country signs for the Newell Highway Parkes Bypass Project. The Newell Highway Upgrade, Parkes Bypass is a new 10.5 kilometre bypass approximately 1.5 kilometres west of the existing Newell Highway in Parkes. The $287.2 million project was jointly funded by the Australian and NSW Governments, to improve freight efficiency and productivity, reduce travel time, eliminate traffic delays caused by railway operations, facilitate future connection to the Parkes Special Activation Precinct (SAP) and improve amenity and pedestrian access in Parkes and in the vicinity of the new alignment.

The project is comprised of approximately 10.5km of pavement, 2 ties ins to the original Newell Highway, a Bridge over Rail and a Road bridge over the new alignment. A pre-tender meeting and site inspection will not be held

All tenderers must comply with the Transport Statement of Business Ethics through the procurement process and any subsequent contract period.

All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework, NSW Government Supplier Code of Conduct and New South Wales Industrial Relations Guidelines: Building and Construction Procurement.
