Provision of Automated Liquid Based Cytopathology Preparation Equipment

The PathWest Cytopathology Laboratory requires the provision of automated cytopathology preparation equipment that is capable of processing gynaecological and non-gynaecological samples and preparing cytology slides to be microscopically examined for the detection of cellular abnormalities.

This Request is seeking offers from suppliers for an initial one (1) and potentially up to two (2) Automated Cytopathology Preparation instruments to prepare gynaecological and non-gynaecological cytology samples. Offers must also include the following components:

1. Supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of the instruments;
2. Provision of reagents and consumables required for the test types specified in the Request;
3. Staff education and training in the operation of the equipment, including basic troubleshooting, daily maintenance and the software analysis program training; and
4. Comprehensive post-warranty service and maintenance provision for a period of up to nine (9) years.

Under the resultant Head Agreement, PathWest reserves the right to purchase additional instruments on an as-required basis throughout the full term of the Contract.
