Civil Maintenance and Minor Works

Background

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is seeking to establish a new civil maintenance and minor works Standing Offer - Panel to support new and ongoing civil maintenance and minor works, predominately to be utilised by PTA’s Network and Infrastructure Division (N&I), as well as other PTA Divisions as and when required. The successful Contractor’s appointed to the panel will provide comprehensive access to suitably qualified and experienced personnel for the delivery of civil and maintenance works. 

General

The scope of works will comprise of general and specific tasks for a number of PTA assets, including structures, stations, buildings and civil assets. The following is examples of the types of civil maintenance and minor works activities that may be required during the contract phase:

i.    Access Stairs and Handrails
ii.    Crash Barriers
iii.    Culverts
iv.    Drainage systems
v.    Fencing 
vi.    Bridges (Road Bridges, Rail Bridges, Viaducts and Footbridges)
vii.    Roads, Busways, Carparks, Access Tracks and Paths
viii.    Retaining Walls and Noise Walls 
ix.    Tunnels, Shafts and Dive Structures
x.    Underpasses
xi.    Electrical Protection Screens and Anti-throw Screens
xii.    Building Structures and Stations
xiii.    Embankments
