The Department of Communities and Justice is seeking to understand the current capacity to deliver foundational supports for children under nine with developmental concern and/or autism across NSW.
As a child with autism or developmental delay in NSW moves between developmentally supportive settings in their early years, the project goal is to enrich the capacity of relevant settings to support their development and to grow the number of settings and services over time.
The goal of this RFI is to better understand the breadth of services that are currently in place to support children with developmental delay and/or autism across NSW.
The responses to this RFI will show us the geographical distribution of organisations delivering services across NSW, their service offerings, and their capacity to expand or deliver different services.
Foundational supports will help children to meet developmental milestones, learn, be social, and support them with their emotional, physical and mental health. Supports are also being designed to give families, carers and kin the right information to understand and support their child’s needs.
