Description

Transport for NSW requires a suitably experienced Independent Certifier to provide Independent Certifier Services for the Heathcote Rd Overtaking Lane Project EOI.

Project goals

Heathcote Rd Overtaking Lane Project

The extension of an existing overtaking lane on Heathcote Rd, for the purpose to improve traffic efficiency, road safety and corridor resilience.

Scope

The scope of services for the project are generally, but not limited to:

• reviewing and certifying the D&C Contractor's design;
• consolidating, transferring, deferring, rejecting, closing and consolidating design comments, including the resolution of contradictory comments;
• reviewing and approving specific project plans;
• reviewing contractual compliance programs, including audits and surveillance;
• Ensuring D&C Contractor compliance to obtain and maintain all necessary permits & approvals;
• certification of milestone achievement of handover completion; and
• regular, formal reporting system of progress of the design packages.

Optional services requested by TfNSW Project Team may include:

• advising of defects and recommendation of non-compliances during construction;
• contamination assessment and auditing;
• review and verification of supplied items by the D&C Contractor;
• onsite inspections and surveillance.

Transport for NSW requires a suitably experienced Independent Certifier to provide Independent Certifier Services for the Heathcote Rd Overtaking Lane Project EOI.
