Museums of History NSW (MHNSW) invites pre-qualified Suppliers under Buy.NSW ICT Services Scheme (SCM0020) category G02 Digitisation including delivery ‘as a service’ to participate in a Request for Tender (RFT) for Collection Digitisation Services.
Services sought are:
Imaging of the collection items to specific requirements to create Archival Master files; Creation of derivative files from Archival Master files; Supply and application of specific technical and ministrative metadat and Quality assurance.
The services sought involve imaging of items from MHNSW’s collections; the State Archives collection, Caroline Simpson Library collection and Museum collections in the following format categories. Categories are:
1. Photographic formats, including negatives, transparencies and photographic prints
2. Bound (book) formats**,** booklets, manuscripts, rare books, volumes and registers etc.
RFT Briefing session
Participants are invited to attend a virtual RFT Briefing session online at 11am on Thursday 22 January 2026. Attendance at this session is optional / non-mandatory.
