Project goal is to tender the design and construction of a new water treatment plant at Jindabyne by suitably qualified and experienced contractors. The design and construction to commence mid 2026.
Construction of the new treatment plant will be staged to accommodate both current and future population growth in Jindabyne, East Jindabyne, and Berridale. The long-term design (10+ years) targets a treated water production capacity of 9.0 ML/day (subject to population growth forecasts being achieved and the connection of the WTP to the existing East Jindabyne and Berridale water supply systems). This contract is to service the mid term design horizon of 6.75 ML/day.
