The Sydney Opera House is seeking proposals from suitably qualified suppliers to publish the third-edition of its official guidebook.

Project goals

The Sydney Opera House is seeking proposals from suitably qualified suppliers to publish the third edition of its guidebook.

This edition will present the most up-to-date text and imagery, published in paperback with the option to also publish in hardback format. It is intended that the paperback edition will also be translated into Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, French, German and Spanish.

The successful respondent will demonstrate:

• Relevant experience publishing works of comparable nature and scale.
• A proven record of producing books that are both aesthetically and editorially refined, considered works of art in their own right, fitting for the Sydney Opera House.
• A strong reputation amongst readers, booksellers and the publishing community as a reliable source of quality publications.

Returnable Schedules

All Returnable Schedules must be submitted by Respondents before the RFT Closing Date and Time.

A conforming RFT response will include the following Returnable Schedules being completed and submitted as part of the response:

1. RFT Registration
2. Proposal
3. Business Capabilities
4. Price and Royalty Fee
5. SME, Ethics and Environment Plan
6. Referees
7. Statutory Declaration; and
8. Legal Documents

Attachments are acceptable where insufficient space is available.
