The School Engaement and Support Program aims to support student school engagement, focusing on targeted intervention to connect students with the support needed for their development, wellbeing, and attendance.
The program supports the aims of the Plan for Public Education to ‘Strengthen student wellbeing and development’ and ‘Advance equitable outcomes, opportunities and experiences.
Through this tender, the department is seeking applications from interested external providers who will work with schools over one to two terms to co-design and deliver pre-approved programs that best meet the skills and capability needs and interests of the participating students.
It is anticipated that successful providers will be onboarded to start delivering in schools in Term 3, 2026, for an initial period of three years.
