This tender relates to the inspection, repair and maintenance of turf surfaces and related asset components managed by the Sydney Olympic Park Authority.
Objectives are as follows:
a. Maintain and improve the turf areas of Sydney Olympic Park.
b. Provide the highest level of turf presentation standards.
c. Provide optimum turf health through correct mowing, weed control and renovation practices.
d. Protect the assets and sensitive environments of Sydney Olympic Park.
e. Comply with all applicable Acts, Regulations, Plans License and Laws plans relevant to the service activities performed in Sydney Olympic Park.
f. Provide all services without risking the safety of other precinct users.
g. Provide and effectively manage an appropriately qualified, trained, resourced, suitably supervised and motivated team to timely deliver the services required of the contract.
Turf maintenance includes:
a. Work scheduling.
b.Reporting.
c.Effective and efficient team supervision.
d.“Best Practice” Turf Maintenance activities to all applicable landscape elements including:
i.Turf mowing; ii.Turf renovations; iii.Turf weed control; iv.Edge trimming; v.Brush-cutting; vi.Leaf, debris- and litter-raking.
e.“Green” waste management and limited litter collection and disposal.
f. Health and safety risk management.
g. Environmental risk and hazard management.h.Attendance at meetings and inspections with the SOPA Contract Coordinator.
i. Implementation of compliant traffic and pedestrian control measures and management plans.
j. Achievement and ongoing maintenance of SOPA turf presentation standards.
k. Compliance with laws, plans, licenses, guidelines, industry standards and regulations.
l. Assisting the public with enquiries and directions.
