SEG-ESD-ERS-NG-71589: Provision of Natural Gas for Defence Large Market Sites in NSW/ACT

Defence estates across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory comprise a wide range of facilities that depend on natural gas for essential services, including heating, cooking, and hot water. Maintaining a secure and reliable gas supply is critical to ensuring operational continuity and cost efficiency across these sites. This Request for Tender seeks to establish a contract for the supply of natural gas to Defence’s large market sites across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory via existing gas network infrastructure.

At the Closing Time, the Tenderer must: (a) be a legal entity recognised under Australian law; (b) not be bankrupt or insolvent; (c) not be subject to any judicial decision against them (not including decisions under appeal) relating to employee entitlements (or if subject to such judicial decision, the Tenderer must have satisfied any resulting order); (d) not be listed as a non-compliant employer under the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth); (e) hold and maintain a gas Retailer’s Authorisation or Licence issued by the Australian Energy Regulator. A contract resulting from this tender can only be signed with a Licenced or Authorised Retailer.
