Description

Property Services division to engage Waste Clearance, Disposal or Transport of inventory from Customer properties in preparation for sale or leasing.

Scope

NSW Trustee and Guardian is establishing this Prequalification Scheme to support the functions of Property Services and simplify the process to engage qualified suppliers and contractors. The services currently form part of this Scheme include Waste Clearance, Disposal and/or Transport of inventory from Customer properties in preparation for sale or leasing. Properties are located across NSW and are primarily residential but may also be commercial, rural or farms. Further categories will be added to the Scheme in the future.

• The review process is based on quality, performance, and demonstrated capability. Reviewers will assess the depth and relevance of your project examples and the strength of your references.
• You must provide evidence-based submissions for each category. General statements or lists will not meet the assessment criteria.
• All mandatory fields in the application are marked with an asterisk (*). Incomplete applications may not be considered.

1A Inspection and quotation

Conduct a comprehensive site inspection to identify all areas containing waste and rubbish. Prepare a detailed quotation for the removal of all items.  The quotation must include a cost breakdown, the estimated time required for the removal process, and any additional services listed below that may be necessary to ensure the site is left clean and free of debris.

2. Waste and rubbish removal

2A Waste and rubbish removal

2B Hazardous waste

Ensure all hazardous waste is appropriately disposed of in compliance with relevant regulations. This may include batteries, pesticides, solvents, e-waste, paints and paint thinners, cleaning chemicals, asbestos, pharmaceuticals, fluorescent light bulbs, automotive fluids and dead animals.

2C Disposal of recyclable material

Identify and segregate items suitable for recycling, such as ferrous and non-ferrous (e.g., copper, aluminum, steel, etc.) metals and whitegoods. These materials must be disposed of through appropriate recycling facilities, and the value of the material is to be identified and offset on the invoice.
