The Australian Federal Police (AFP) wish to inform the industry that there is a slight delay in informing shortlisted Tenderers, which was previously planned to be released before going on the Christmas/New Year break. The AFP is pleased to inform that this is primarily due to the overwhelming response to the RFT by the industry, and the effort associated with evaluating numerous Tenders with attention to detail, aligned with the due process. The AFP currently anticipates that it will conduct the following activities on, or about the following dates: • February 2026: inform the shortlisted Tenderers. • March/April 2026: solution demonstrations by shortlisted Tenderers. • April/May 2026: conduct reference checks and contract negotiations. • May/June 2026: contract award and commence work of the resulting contract. These activities and timelines are provided for information only and are subject to change, or to not proceed at all, at the sole discretion of the AFP. The AFP wish to thank the industry for its patience and interest in the impending outcome.
