RFI_ATM_2026_6026: Request for Information regarding the National Solar Panel Recycling Pilot

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to inform the potential development of a future Approach to Market (ATM) to engage an administrator to deliver a national solar panel recycling pilot (pilot). The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (the Department) is seeking feedback and insight from industry and other stakeholders as part of this RFI process on the proposed objectives, scope, risks and feasibility of a pilot. Responses to the RFI will be used to: • test the clarity and scope of the proposed pilot; • understand market capability, including potential pilot administrators; • identify key risks to delivery of the pilot; and • support the design and development of a potential future ATM process, and associated ATM process documentation.

Respondents are invited to provide high-level views in response to the questions. Respondents are not required to address every question. Commercially sensitive information within a response should be clearly identified. See section 5.1 of this RFI for further instructions including lodgement and format. Responses to this RFI must be lodged electronically on AusTender before the closing date and time set out in section 2 of this RFI. A response document is available for use, see Attachment 1.
