The CMS is the foundational platform for publishing and managingcontent for the Museum’s websites. Our current fragmented systems are a direct barrier to growth and efficiency across the Museum. They create a disjointed journey for our users and place an administrative burden on staff who manage similar content across multiple platforms. This project seeks to resolve these core problems by creating a single, integrated, and efficient platform that can deliver a world-class, experience for all our varied audiences. This project directly supports the Museum's strategic direction in several key areas: • Bring the world to Australia and Australia to the world: By delivering a cohesive and intuitive digital journey, we will deepen engagement with our diverse audiences and extending the Museum's reach globally. • A collection for the nation: The CMS will activate our collection online, making it a dynamic, interactive, and accessible resource for all Australians, while embedding First Nations protocols and multilingual support to ensure it is a truly national collection. • An effective and sustainable organisation: Streamlining content workflows, automating processes, and providing self-service tools will significantly improve internal efficiency, reduce duplicated effort, and empower staff to focus on high-value activities that support our mission. • Grow a confident economic culture: The platform will create a seamless experience for ticketing, retail, memberships, and donations, integrating commercial activities into the broader visitor journey to cultivate long-term support and drive revenue.
