This Notice of Intent is to advise that the Department of Health, Ageing and Disability (department) intends to conduct a post-release industry briefing to support an upcoming approach to market for Enterprise Computing Services. This session will provide an overview of the planned procurement and offer potential tenderers early insights into the Department’s requirements. As part of the upcoming procurement, the Department is seeking a qualified Enterprise Computing Provider to deliver specialised services within a complex ICT environment. The scope of this procurement is to engage an experienced Provider to deliver Enterprise Computing services for the purpose of providing compute, storage, data centre network and cloud services to support Department applications and digital platforms. The Department will be seeking to engage a qualified and experienced Enterprise Computing Service Provider (EC Service Provider) to deliver Enterprise Computing (EC) Services within a complex Multi-Vendor Environment (MVE) ICT environment. The EC Service Provider will be responsible for the planning, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of EC Services aligned with Axelos ITIL® 4 Edition practices. As part of these services, the EC Service Provider will be expected to: · Supply EC Services for the purpose of providing compute, storage, Data Centre network and cloud services to support Department applications, including: o Platform Engineering Services. o Data Centre Presence Management Services. o Middleware Management. o Database Management (private and public cloud). o Data Centre Compute Services. o Storage Management (private and public cloud). o Data Centre Networking Services. o Data Warehousing Services. · Collaborate and integrate with the Department’s Service Integration and Management (SIAM) provider, Digital Services Delivery teams, and Other Service Providers to ensure the coordinated and effective delivery of Services. · Align with the Department’s Agile / DevOps / Tools ways of working, noting this will mature and expand over time.

The industry briefing will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams. Attendance is optional and subject to registration. Interested parties wishing to attend must register at the following address Enterprise Computing Industry Briefing 23 January 2026 by no later than 5PM, Tuesday 20 January 2026 Please note anyone registering from an international location will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. The Department: · will confirm registrations as received; and · issue joining details for the virtual briefing on Thursday, 22 January 2026. Please be aware no questions will be answered during the industry briefing. The purpose of the session is to provide background information only and support probity in the lead-up to the formal release of the Request for Tender (RFT). Following the release of the RFT, tenderers are invited to submit questions in writing to the Contact Officer at nexteradigital.EC@health.gov.au. All questions will be managed in accordance with the process outlined in the Conditions of Tender, ensuring consistent and transparent communication with all potential respondents. Please note: Attendance at the industry briefing is optional and not a prerequisite for responding to the subsequent procurement process.
