DFAT-1087: Pacific Security College Phase II

The Pacific Security College aims to strengthen regional security through collaborative learning and enhanced people-to-people relationships. It provides fully-funded strategic training to Pacific security officials, technical assistance to support Pacific national and regional security strategy development and supports dialogue on the Pacific’s regional security priorities. Building on Phase I, the College will have the following areas of focus: Delivery of training to Pacific security practitioners and leaders on priority areas outlined in the Boe Declaration on Regional Security. Enhancing regional collaboration, communication and information sharing Delivery of an annual Pacific Peace and Security Dialogue and associated regional dialogues Provision of technical assistance to Pacific Islands Forum Member countries to assist with development and implementation of national security policy; and Management of the Pacific Security College Advisory Board.

Proposed initial term of four years, with an option to extend for up to four years.
