SARIC-2 will support small-scale catalytic projects, including project preparation, facilitating connections with Australian financing agencies, while promoting sovereign infrastructure choices that empower South Asian nations to shape their own development pathways. It will help mitigate transboundary risks—including climate change, water insecurity, and disaster vulnerability—and enhance regional stability through inclusive economic integration and improved connectivity. The investment will adopt a multi-partner, multi-pillar approach, leveraging the strengths of established Multilateral Development Banks and development partners. DFAT is seeking an Implementation Services Provider (ISP) to deliver one of these Pillars, and provide a program-wide platform of management support services. The ISP will be based either in the region or in Australia. This will bolster a program-wide knowledge management function delivered by the ISP, which is intended to be nimble, responsive, and contribute to the Program’s effectiveness.
