Comcare are seeking one or more contractors to provide Independent Medical Examination (IME) services. An IME is an assessment by a medical professional (IME Specialist) performed with respect to an individual (Employee) who was not previously involved in treatment of that Employee. The IME aims to provide an independent professional opinion about the Employee’s injury or condition to help guide decisions on a compensable claim. The successful Tenderer(s) will be required to: • source IME Specialists; • provide an IME service delivery platform which includes a portal for Comcare to order IMEs from IME Specialists; • report on its performance of the Requirement and IMEs performed by IME Specialists; and • provide specific data, reports and management services.
