2026 Teacher Conferences

Description

The NSW Department of Education organises conferences to support teachers, aspiring teachers, head teachers, faculty leaders and other staff groups.

Project goals

Conferences bring together teachers, school leaders, industry representatives and others to network, share and celebrate insights and best practice, explore new and existing syllabuses and provide an opportunity for attendees to:

• engage with school leaders, industry professionals, university academics and leading educators on evidence based practices
• engage the next generation of potential teachers
• access valuable insights and resources to support in preparing for teaching various syllabuses
• deepen understanding of assessment, programming, and research skills in specific learning areas and subjects
• build and strengthen professional networks.

Scope

Organisations are invited to express interest in contributing cash or value-in-kind sponsorship contributions towards one or more of the 2026 Teacher Conferences:

• Japanese Conference 27 Mar (expressions of interest close 30 Jan)
• French Teachers Conference 8 May (expressions of interest close 30 Mar)
• English Stage 6 Conference 20–21 May (expressions of interest close 30 Mar)
• TAS Stage 6 – Enterprise Computing and Software Engineering Conference 2 Jun (expressions of interest close 28 Apr)
• TAS Agriculture/Aquatic/Engineering Conference 17 Jun (expressions of interest close 28 Apr)
• PDHPE 7-10 Conference 17–18 Jun (e_xpressions of interest close_ 28 Apr)
• Creative Arts Conference 2026: Engage. Enact. Embed. TBC (e_xpressions of interest close_ 30 Sep)
• Mathematics Charting New Horizons 7–12 Conference TBC (expressions of interest close 30 Sep)
• HSIE Stage 6 Conference 9 Dec (e_xpressions of interest close_ 30 Sep)

Sign a sponsorship agreement

Successful respondents to the EOI will be required to countersign a Sponsorship Agreement or Letter of Agreement subject to NSW Department of Education's: Commercial Arrangements, Sponsorship and Donations policy and procedures
