Media literacy is the ability to create, use and share media and to critically reflect on this engagement. The Strategy is a key element of the Government’s work to ensure Australians are safe online and empowered to fully participate in the digital economy. The successful tenderer will have: specialist media literacy expertise and experience, including a demonstrated understanding of media literacy competencies across Australia. experience producing and interpreting academic research in relation to media literacy. experience working with stakeholders in relation to media literacy, to support inclusive design practices and cross sector collaboration for the development of the Strategy. existing knowledge of emerging communications technologies and their impacts on media literacy the capacity and capability to undertake consultation with the community and other key stakeholders in relation to media literacy.
